August really passed us by but NOT TO WORRY! More horror content is coming soon. As in now. As in I’m sorry for being behind schedule but we have some cool stuff to drop this month I swear :D 

What’s Coming This Month:

• A New Horror Play! Hot off the presses…

• A behind-the-scenes look at Closer Than You’d Think

• A 3-part short horror film

• September 3 - 5: Closing weekend of Closer Than You’d Think in Bangor, ME. Shoutout to Dirk for coming up from Boston to see it!!

What I’m Working On: 

• We’re turning Closer Than You’d Think into a film!!! We are at the beginning stages of planning for that project. I’ve been dreaming of this since this play’s premiere in 2021 and I am in discussion with my professional mentor, Jason Rouse, to finally make it happen. Coming soon to film festivals near you…and you will get access to the film here first, people!!! (and if you know someone who supports women filmmakers, new horror directors, innovative art, or just loves start-ups, send them THIS LINK!)

What I’m Scared Of Right Now:

• Boston traffic :/

• Teenagers

• Under-cooked meat

Horror Recs

• Film: IT (the original short series turned film, RIP Tim Curry)

• Book: Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay (this is the only book I have read by him so far but it was so good that I am going to get every one!!)
